Revival...!!

I still am wondering why I left this blog so idle for a very long time; not that I'm a seasoned blogger like some of my close friends who are really good at what and how they pen. Seeing all those blogs...yeah, you heard me right - I said 'seeing' not 'reading'.;-)

To be honest, I never enjoyed much of reading. For whatsoever reason, even if I open a book with great enthusiasm, its not long before I doze-off with the book still in my hand. But, I tend to read something which catches my eye and attention. I guess am more interested in a writing based on whats in the first few lines or pages (going beyond "Don't judge a book by its cover"? LOL!!). Sounds crazy right....? But, believe me....I was almost always right, though the ratio of what I saw to what I read is not too impressive a number. Anyways, impressed and inspired by all those bloggers (my friends included) out there who are good and different in their own ways, a random thought - 'Why not me?' passed my mind. Just before that thought breezed away, this blog started. The posts following that momentary thought are some of my strongest feeling and beliefs. There were a few more nice (crazy,if you prefer) posts that were to follow. Before that could happen, the interest to blog subsided and got lost amidst various other things. Not so important things.....just things, I don't even remember what those time-killing events were. Or, maybe I don't want to remember? Ironically, I'm very proud of my memory; I kind of can recollect many moments of the past, or may be its just selective memory.:)) Maybe, its like that very wonderful sentence - 'You only see what you want to see'; in this case, I should say - 'You
only remember what you want to remember'? Or, maybe it was just like many of the things which I start with zeal but slowly lose interest to pursue them. But, I still am zealous about few things that I'd love to nurture, but just don't find that trigger which kindled the thoughts and passion earlier.

"Let me give it another genuine try,
And ponder what (not)to blog and why;
I Hope, this time I keep it going,
Not wondering 'what the heck I was doing."

Let this be the revival of this blog, and here's hoping atleast a few more "random thoughts" will make it onto here!!

  1. Well- Reading is more so an acquired habit I think.. You just need to dabble a bit in knowing what you like reading and what you dont.. :) Nice place.. keep posting more
